Apr 20 REVIEW: "Sometimes I Lie" by Alice Feeney. The plot twist are clumsy and forced, and in the end you think - the whole story is a lie, so why did I bother reading it. He certainly added more drama, and I believe he was doing something to keep Amber in the coma (as well as attempting to murder her while she’s in it), but if you took him out, the plot could still continue with just as much tension and drama. Popular with readers, the book received widespread critical praise. If you plan on reading the book yourself and just want to know if I think it’s worthwhile, you can skip the “My Thoughts” section. Throughout the flashbacks in the book, we see her setting things in motion to frame Claire’s aunt for the murder, the host of the radio show Amber worked on, proving she was likely going to kill Claire either way and take her kids.
